How we label sponsored content
Some articles on this site are paid promotional pieces created in partnership with an advertiser. Any article of that kind carries a clearly visible "Advertorial" label at the top, before the headline. We do not disguise paid placements as independent reporting.
Advertorial content still follows a basic honesty standard: figures presented as typical market rates are marked with an asterisk and linked to our earnings disclaimer, and we do not publish guaranteed-income claims, fabricated statistics, or fake testimonials.
Editorial independence
Advertisers do not see or approve editorial articles before publication, and sponsorship never determines whether we would otherwise recommend a product or service. Where an article is sponsored, that relationship is disclosed, not hidden in fine print.
